Green House Hostel - Belgrade

A Room with a View: The view from the window wasn't really nice, but that didn't matter because I spent most of my time on the shared terrace, soaking in the breathtaking sights of the river. It was like having my own private balcony overlooking a lively waterfront promenade.

No In-Room Kettle

The triple room at Green House Hostel was just perfect for my low-budget traveller needs. The private entrance made me feel like I had my own little slice of Belgrade. And let's not forget the air conditioning - it was a total lifesaver during those hot summer nights!

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the private bathroom. It felt a bit cramped, but hey, that's just my personal opinion.

loved the chill river views, perfect for work and chilling on the deck. Beautiful park nearby for evening jogs. Convenient bus stop to downtown and the amazing Street of the Hungry. Super friendly staff and affordable laundry service. exceeded my previous Belgrade experience!

The breakfast spread was absolutely delightful. The variety of freshly baked bread and fluffy scrambled eggs was a carb-lover's dream. The chef's creativity was on point, turning the simple combination of egg and bread into a symphony of flavors and textures. It was like an orchestra playing a jazz rendition of a classic song - familiar yet exciting. Truly a breakfast experience unlike any other.

Meatless breakfast option

The value for money was really good, with asuper clean and cozy room. The location was perfect, surrounded by floating restaurants and clubs.

I had an amazing experience during my Christmas stay at this hostel. the view of the river was absolutely stunning, especially with all the Christmas lights reflecting on the water. the free parking option was also a great advantage, as I didn't have to worry about finding a spot for my car. the location was perfect - close enough to the city center to walk, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. it was a wonderful and relaxing holiday getaway.

the sunshades on the windows didn't block out much light, so I found myself waking up early due to the brightness. the staff had limited English skills, which made communication a bit challenging at times.

I recently stayed at the Green House hostel in a peaceful area near the Danube river for a few days. The staff was incredibly kind and polite, and the rooms were perfectly cleaned. The beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The hostel is in a fantastic location, with beautiful views of ducks and swans in the river and the Kalemegdan fortress across the way. It was a truly enjoyable holiday.

The menu for breakfast could have been more varied.

Great river views, outdoor deck for working, nearby park for jogging, easy access to downtown and cheap food street, helpful staff. Clean rooms, good breakfast, excellent location, peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff, reliable WiFi. Unique floating experience, clean and hospitable, free parking nearby, relaxing walk along the river, convenient taxi service. Must-try for Belgrade visitors.

Amazing location and view on the Danube, close to city center, nice restaurants and night clubs. Helpful staff, delicious homemade food, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Total maximum of 49 words.

For us it was ideal.

We loved the wonderful view from the terrace at Green House. The comfortable bed and nice heating made our stay cozy. The staff were pretty good too prepare an early breakfast for us and arrange a taxi. we had a great experience and would recommend this place.
